Kids Club After School Program
When you send your child to Kids Club, you don't have to be concerned with what they're doing after school. Our program gives children the opportunity to have fun in a caring environment while being social with their peers. Here, they get a chance to exercise, relax, do homework, engage in creative play or participate in sports and games.
Financial assistance is available. Stop by the Y and pick up a scholarship application or download one from our website. All information is strictly confidential. Times may be tough, but don't let financial hardship be a barrier to this great program!
"The coolest place in town !"
Kids Club begins at school dismissal and ends promptly at 6 p.m., serving the following communities at these off site locations:
Boonton: Boonton Twp.: Butler: |
Denville: Lincoln Park: Mountain Lakes: |
* Morning care available at 7 a.m. at Riverview.
Must have a minimum of 15 students enrolled in order to run program. Vacation Camp Policies
Scheduled school half days (those reflected on the school district calendar distributed at the beginning of the school year) are covered by the Kids Club Program at no additional charge. On these days the program starts at the earlier dismissal time and runs until 6:00pm at the site. This does not cover any special Kindergarten early dismissals unless they dismiss with the entire school.
Single Vacation Camp Days: Scheduled full days off of school (those reflected on the school district calendar distributed at the beginning of the school year) are covered from 7:30am until 6:00pm at no additional charge. Registration sign up forms for the single vacation camps days (i.e. Yom Kippur, Columbus Day, etc.) will be located at each kids club site for the single day vacation camps. You must sign up before the forms are handed to the Program Director to secure your child’s spot.
Extended Vacation Camp Days: Week long school closings also enable Kids Club members to attend vacation camp. These sessions run from 7:30am to 6:00pm on weeks such as: Christmas vacation, mid winter vacation and Spring break. These vacation days are optional and not included in the monthly fee. Anyone wishing to attend must pay the $12.00 per day fee. Registration sign up forms will be mailed directly to participant homes and pre-payment will be required.
During these sessions we follow a theme day schedule with structured activities from 9:30 am until 4 pm. During the hours of 7:30 am – 9:30 am and 4:00-6:00 pm there will be recreational play periods consisting of board games, coloring pages, and other fun activities for the children. There will also be scheduled trips during the extended vacation camp weeks, which are not required, but to have additional cost for the bussing and activity fees.
Pre registration for all vacation camp days is required. Due to staffing, supplies, and licensing capacity; registrations will not be accepted after the issued deadline. There is no drop-in service for vacation camp. Confirmation of enrollment will be issued for all participants prior to each vacation camp day.
Refunds will be issued if the request is made at least one week in advance.
*Vacation Camps will be held at the Community Church in Mountain Lakes. However, the December Vacation Camp will be held at the YMCA.
