TBD - After school notices

Kids Club now offers Coordinated Approach to Child Health (C.A.T.C.H.)

When you send your child to Kids Club, you don't have to be concerned with what they're doing after school. Our program gives children the opportunity to have fun in a caring environment while being social with their peers. Here, they get a chance to exercise, relax, do homework, engage in creative play or participate in sports and games.

C.A.T.C.H. is a health and after school program proven to reduce the rate of childhood obesity and improve children’s health-related behaviors. It is the only coordinated nutrition education, and physical activity program with fifteen years of solid research and evidence to support its design and content. Every week, C.A.T.C.H. is making a difference in children’s lives across North America and beyond. We are proud to make this program an included benefit to all Kids Clubs participants.

Vacation Camp Policies
Scheduled school half days (those reflected on the school district calendar distributed at the beginning of the school year) are covered by the Kids Club Program at no additional charge. On these days the program starts at the earlier dismissal time and runs until 6:00pm at the site. This does not cover any special Kindergarten early dismissals unless they dismiss with the entire school.

Single Vacation Camp Days: Scheduled full days off of school (those reflected on the school district calendar distributed at the beginning of the school year such Yom Kippur and Columbus Day) are covered from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at no additional charge. Registration forms for the single Vacation Camp days will always be available on our Kids Club Parent Page. You will always receive an email notifying you of any upcoming camps approximately three to four weeks in advance. You must sign up by the deadline in order to secure a spot for your child. Vacation Camps are held at the YMCA or at the Community Church of Mountain Lakes.

Extended Vacation Camp Days: Week long school closings also enable Kids Club members to attend Vacation Camp. These sessions run from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weeks such as: December break, Mid winter break and Spring break. These vacation days are optional and not included in the monthly fee. Anyone wishing to attend must pay the $12.00 per day fee. Registration sign up forms will always be found on our Parents Page. You will receive an email notifying you to register. During these sessions we follow a theme day schedule with structured activities from 9:30 am until 4:00 p.m. During the hours of 7:30-9:30 am and 4:00-6:00 p.m. there will be recreational play periods consisting of board games, coloring pages, movies, and other fun activities for the children.
