How do I get my child into a ½ day or full day child care program?
Our childcare center is the best around! We often have openings in various full day and partial day classes. For information specific to your child, contact the Childcare Director at extension 39 or the Assistant Director at extension 14. They will discuss availability appropriate for your child’s age. They will also set up a tour and a registration meeting so you can come in to see our facility and discuss your child’s needs.
When is summer day camp registration?
Summer Day Camp registration opens first to full privilege members, then to childcare and kids club participants, then to returning campers and finally to all others. The process typically begins in mid-January each year. Check the YMCA program brochure or website for specific dates and times. Registration is available in person and online.
Do I have to use afterschool (Kids Club) childcare all five weekdays?
The YMCA’s Kids Club is available 1 to 5 days a week. However, attendance is limited to the same day(s) every week. Please contact the Afterschool Program Director at extension 19 to make changes to your child’s registration.
What are the fee options for Babysitting?
Drop-in Babysitting service is available for $4 per hour and must be paid at the time of service. Discounted cards (non-transferable and non-refundable) are available for $56 for sixteen hours and are valid for one year from date of purchase.
What is the limit in Babysitting and what are my options if it is full?
When the number signed-in to the Babysitting Room gets to 24 children, a waiting list is provided to take the next child when someone leaves. During scheduled weekday holidays, the Y makes the Kids Cardio Arcade available for children 6 years and older, free of charge, to alleviate overcrowding.
