Call for a CAB!
(Community Advisory Board)
The purpose of the Lakeland Hills YMCA Community Advisory Boards (CABs) is to serve as a vehicle to individually provide effective input and communication to the townships of (in alphabetical order): Boonton, Boonton Township, Butler, Denville, Kinnelon, Lincoln Park, Montville, Mountain Lakes, Parsippany, and Pequannock. Each CAB serves in an advisory capacity to the Lakeland Hills YMCA and each community. The membership of each CAB consists of representatives from diverse community, civic, educational and specialty areas.
Each CAB’s mission is to build relationships with its community to share ideas and knowledge, to identify potential issues and solve them, and to raise awareness and appreciation for each community and its relationship to the Lakeland Hills YMCA and its community services.
Each member is asked to attend two meetings per year: Fall and Spring. In addition to participation at CAB meetings, members will help communicate the message of the CAB to its respective community. Members should participate within the CAB to share information and feedback.
Should you wish to serve your community and the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA in this capacity, please complete the Community Advisory Board information form.
