Long-time member Ursula Michalowicz of Boonton Township was honored recently for work with Project Healthy Bones, a fitness program here at the Y that is specifically geared toward seniors and those at risk for osteoporosis. As a Project Healthy Bones Leader, Ursula received the Community Advocate Award from the Interagency Council on Osteoporosis, an agency of the Department of Health & Senior Services of the State of New Jersey. Boonton Day 2011
Many vendors and fun events took place along Main Street in Boonton. The Oey family dropped by the Y table to say hello. With them is the Y’s Community Relations Director, Rosemary Linder Day.
