Health & Fitness Center

Our Health & Fitness Training Center is among the finest, most comprehensive in North Jersey and our staff is committed to your fitness success. We offer an equipment orientation, with the instructor on the floor, to get you started. Orientations are by appointment and last approximately 45 minutes. Family members are welcome to do orientations together (max 2) or separately. (You won’t be paired up with any other members.) The Center is staffed at all times so you always have someone available to you for information, to act as a spotter or if you just need a refresher on any of the equipment.

Personal Training

Want more than a Group Fitness class? Why not try our one-on-one training with a certified personal trainer? A trainer can motivate you, teach you new techniques, and help you achieve your fitness goals. Prior Fitness Evaluation required. By appointment only.

H-O-P-E 

Helping Oncology Patients Exercise 

This safe exercise program is beneficial during and after cancer treatment. You will work with various props, including weights and bands, in order to enhance balance and coordination, preserve and/or improve muscle strength, and increase range of motion. You will also move through a circuit of different exercises. We encourage you to work at your own pace (we will chart your progress) and necessary modifications will be made to assure you work out safely and target specific problem areas during this 7-week session.

Please note this class does not run during the summer.

Project Healthy Bones 

Exercise, good nutrition and education can significantly decrease the risk of osteoporosis and prevent further deterioration of the bones in people who already have the disease. Project HEALTHY BONES is an osteoporosis prevention, exercise and education program for older adults. It is designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility using balance an strength training exercises which target the body's larger muscle groups.

Project HEALTHY BONES will also educate you on the importance of exercise nutrition, safety, drug therapy and lifestyle factors as they relate to osteoporosis

MEDICAL CLEARANCE REQUIRED
