Letters of recommendation may be submitted electronically; please e-mail attachments in .doc, .docx or .pdf format to: firstname.lastname@example.org
If sending references by mail: Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, 100 Fanny Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046, ATTN: Rosemary Linder Day.
The two winning students will each receive a free one-year membership to the Y, and an engraved plaque at the Y Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation. AND, NEW THIS YEAR...The Y will also donate $100 in the recipient’s name to the charity of their choice. With this addition of a monetary donation, the Y hopes to help with much-needed fundraising that nonprofits and charities need to continue their mission. Having a direct call to action is a necessity for nonprofits, and by giving that choice to the Bronie Parkins Award recipients, it allows for a personal connection.
The winners, along with their parents and a teacher of his or her choice, are invited as our guests for the evening.
