This class is designed just for teens. You'll be motivated and entertained as you experience the cool music selected with you in mind - and you'll get a great workout at the same time! Reserve your bike by picking up a cycling tag 30 minutes before class.
This teen group fitness class is designed to improve overall
fitness in strength, endurance, stability, and mobility. It can
also help you with the sport you play, enhancing your training
while helping you reach your maximum potential. Also
included during this hour-long workout are sport specific
moves designed to increase speed, agility and power.
Class
is supervised by nationally certified personal trainers. All
levels welcome. Fees are per 7-week session.

This class will help advanced swimmers learn how to assist
with swim lessons while working on their own proficiency,
which includes introductory lifeguarding skills.
This Red Cross Certification course will certify individuals in
lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and AED. Participants must be at
least 15 by time of first class.The following requirements are
necessary in order to take the course:
Swim 500 yards demonstrating the front crawl, breaststroke, side
stroke, and elementary backstroke.
Tread water for 5 minutes.
Recover a 10-pound brick from 12 feet of water.
Participants
must pass 100% of these water skills in addition to passing a
written test by at least 80%.There are no refunds for failure
to pass either requirement.Attendance is critical at every class
as absences may result in no certification.First class is Sunday,
March 2. Be ready to swim.
For those holding a current lifeguarding certification
and only need to renew their CPR requirements (for
Professional Rescuer CPR). Demonstration of practical
skills and passing of the written test required. No review
will be given.
Students must bring proof of prior CPR for the
Professional Rescuer certification and their CPR mask.
Renew your lifeguarding, CPR for the professional rescuer, and first aid certificaztion during this two-day course. Non-members welcome. Participants are expected to review their material prior to class. Bring your mask and prior certification!
Fee: Members $100/Non-members $125.
Learn how to help someone until professional help arrives with this course on adult,child, and infant CPR. Practical and written exam will be given at the end of the class.

Learn how to be a responsible babysitter, how to handle
emergencies, how to supervise and entertain children of
different ages. Must be 11 by time of class.Y membership

If you’re a teen in the seventh through twelfth grades, you
can become a part of a unique club at the Y. Leaders Club
is for those interested in volunteer work, spending time with
friends and having fun. The club meets weekly on
Wednesdays. As a Leader you will have volunteer opportunities
to help others, work on community service projects,
learn leadership skills, participate in special activities, and
most of all, have fun! You also might be able to earn school
credit helping people in your community. Program runs
September through June. Join any time,Y membership is
NOT required, only a $25 registration fee.
