Aquatics for TEENS at the Y

Our swim lesson program is designed to help kids develop a lifelong love of the water with competency, confidence and endurance.

To reach this goal, students are introduced to:

    •  Stroke Mechanics
    •  Water Sports and Games
    •  Personal Safety
    •  Character Development

Younger teens participate in our Progessive Lessons while we welcome older teens to learn/improve their swimming skills in our Adult Swim Lessons.

Additionally, teens are encouraged to begin to take on leadership roles in the aquatic environment through Red Cross Lifeguard and WSI certification courses as well as volunteering to assist younger swimmers.
